Meeting: West Metro Master Naturalist – Nov. 14th

The Marvelous Marsh

Learn about the restoration and preservation of a 100 acre Bloomington wetland known as the Opus Marsh.  In the early 20th century it had been drained and used to pasture cattle.  This presentation will feature outstanding photos that help to tell the fascinating story that brought about the return of water and wildlife to this area. Presented by Dr. Scott Sharkey, cardiologist, nature photographer and speaker for the Audubon Society.

Thursday, November 14th, at Minnetonka Community Center, 14600 Minnetonka Boulevard, Minnetonka.  Social time 6:30 p.m., Presentation 7:00 p.m. Free.
