ADV: Minnesota Meteorites and Planetary Geology – Minnetonka – Oct. 10th

Learn about the nine known meteorites that have been found in Minnesota.   Find out how rare meteorites can be distinguished from the more abundant “meteorwrongs”.   During this presentation, you will see and hold meteorites and may also bring your own meteorite to get information about it.

Presented by Calvin Alexander, Professor Emeritus from the Earth Sciences Dept. of the University of Minnesota, and Craig Zlien, proprietor of Minnesota Meteorites.  Thursday, October 10th, at Minnetonka Community Center, 14600 Minnetonka Boulevard, Minnetonka.
