Mississippi Park Connection and Mississippi National River and Recreation Area will be resuming our recurring habitat restoration crews at Mill Ruins Park this season
Join a group of volunteers to maintain a demonstration prairie at Mill Ruins Park. This native prairie attracts many bees, butterflies, and birds while improving the Mississippi River shoreline habitat.
The crew will meet at the St. Anthony Falls Visitor Center on the following Saturday mornings from 9am-noon: Sept. 14th & 21st, and Oct. 5th & 12th.
Come every time or just when you can!
Led by a trained National Park Service volunteer, this crew is also sponsored by the Mississippi Park Connection and the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board. All tools, such as gloves, are provided.
