The Aquatic Plant Identification Workshop is being convened by Minnesota Department of Natural Resources in partnership with University of Minnesota Extension and the Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center. This workshop is recommended for consultants in Minnesota who conduct aquatic plant surveys for hire, volunteers in the UMN AIS Detectors program, Minnesota Master Naturalists, county staff who work with aquatic plants, and any other member of the public interested in learning more about identifying species from our underwater forests.
Consultants who successfully complete the workshop and pass the knowledge assessment at the completion will be acknowledged on the Minnesota DNR website listing of Surveyors of Aquatic Plants in Lakes: https://files.dnr.state.mn.us/eco/invasives/surveyors_aq_plants.pdf
