Co-Host Habitattitude Booth at Northern Green Jan 3-4, 2018 – Minneapolis

We could use your help hosting a Habitattitude booth to teach visitors about AIS. Minnesota Sea Grant will be hosting a Habitattitude booth again Weds, January 3rd and Thurs, January 4th, at the 2018 Northern Green Expo, Minneapolis Convention Center. As one of the largest “green industry” events in the Upper Midwest, it showcases products and services from agriculture, forestry, architecture, design, turf and nursery industries.
Thanks to Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association and Habitattitude campaign partner, we have been given a complimentary booth for the 12th year. It is an excellent venue to promote the Habitattitude through MNLA, its members, and event visitors. As with many of our campaign related events, we coordinate staffing among partners typically DNR Law Enforcement and Watercraft Inspection Programs, Nat’l Park Service, St. Croix River Association and others. If you’ve helped us out in the past, we hope that you will be able to do so again. If you haven’t had the opportunity, it is excellent venue for education and networking.
Anyone who volunteers gets a free admission to the event and can take in education offerings (http://northerngreen.org/sche dule-at-a-glance) when you are not staffing the booth.
From the booth, we will educate and distribute various complimentary Habitattitude education tools. We will also distribute a flier for the next Surrender and Auction Event hosted by the Minnesota Aquarium Society, January 20th (http://www.aquarium.mn/).
Please fill out the Doodle poll below with times you are available to co-host a shift (2/day). I am looking for two people per shift. If you know of others that would be interested please forward to them. When signing up, please include your name and affiliation. I need this to provide names to Expo organizers for your badges.

As always, we cannot do this alone and your support is greatly appreciated.
